Young people like your daughter are reason to be hopeful for our world! I just concluded a semester, teaching a classroom of young people from extremely diverse religious, political and personal backgrounds. Our last discussions covered religion, LGBTQ+ topics, mental health, and feminism, and they could all share their perspective, listen AND disagree respectfully. In fact, the word respect was a key word throughout the discussion. I think the young people will teach us older folks a lot about how to be in the world if we just give their voices the most space to be heard.

Thanks for sharing this hopeful story about who your daughter is and what she is helping the world to become.
